# Wizcom Public API

Wizcom publishes one small public API: the scan behind the free [AI Visibility Check](https://wizcomltd.com/ai-visibility-check). It needs no API key.

## Scan a website

`POST https://wizcomltd.com/api/agent-ready-scan` with a JSON body:

The scan checks five basics on the site's origin:

1. `robots.txt` is published
2. `sitemap.xml` is reachable and valid
3. `/llms.txt` is published
4. `/.well-known/security.txt` has a Contact line
5. The homepage has JSON-LD structured data

## Limits

- 20 scans per IP per hour. Over the limit you get HTTP 429 with a `Retry-After` header.
- Results for the same origin are cached for 5 minutes (`X-Wizcom-Cache: HIT`).
- Private, loopback, and link-local addresses are rejected with HTTP 422.
- Scans are logged without raw IP addresses. See the [Privacy Policy](https://wizcomltd.com/privacy-policy).

The site's Markdown pages are also available as MCP resources. The server allows 120 requests per IP every 10 minutes.

## What isn't available

There's no public API for contact, quotes, or support requests. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. Email hello@wizcomltd.com instead.
