Talk to Wizcom

Automotive Doesn't Tolerate Slow

Every hour your line is delayed is an hour late on a JIT delivery a Tier-1 OEM is watching. Chargebacks are real. Program-loss risk is real. Your IT has to be as reliable as your torque wrench.

Wizcom has spent 40+ years supporting Michigan's automotive supply chain. We know the OEM portals, the EDI feeds, the change-control expectations from Ford, GM, Stellantis, and Toyota supplier organizations. We know what happens when a supplier can't ship on time.

Whether you're a small stamping shop or a multi-plant tier-one, the underlying job is the same: IT that treats every shipment as the commitment it is.

Built for the Pace of Automotive

The specific IT work that keeps suppliers shipping on time and on spec.

JIT-Grade Uptime

Continuous monitoring of switches, controllers, and production applications. Failures caught before they cascade into a missed shipment.

EDI Feed Monitoring

Outbound and inbound EDI feeds to every customer, watched around the clock. When a feed goes dark, we know before your customer does.

OEM Portal Integration

Working knowledge of Ford supplier systems, GM SupplyPower, Stellantis PowerNet, Toyota supplier network, and the certificate management they require.

IATF Change Control

Documented change management that aligns with IATF 16949 requirements. When your quality auditor asks for evidence, it exists.

CAD / CAM Support

CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, license servers, vault infrastructure. We understand what breaks and why.

Supplier Cybersecurity

OEM security addenda are getting more prescriptive. We implement the controls your customers are already requiring.

Frameworks You're Working Under

Automotive suppliers typically operate under some combination of these. We implement the technical controls that make each program work in practice.

IATF 16949

Automotive Quality Management

Quality standard with strict requirements around IT change control, audit trails, and configuration management. We build the foundation.

ISO 9001

Quality Management Baseline

The base quality standard. Same IT requirements as IATF but at a broader scope for non-automotive quality programs.

OEM Security Addenda

Customer-Specific Requirements

Ford, GM, Stellantis, and Toyota each have prescriptive security requirements for suppliers. We keep current with the flowdown language.

The EDI Outage That Wasn't Their Customer's Fault

A tier-two automotive stamping supplier lost outbound EDI to a Tier-1 during a high-volume week. Missed shipment notifications were piling up. Their previous MSP said it was on the customer's side and told them to open a ticket with the Tier-1.

When they called us, we traced the problem in 45 minutes to their own outbound firewall rule that had been changed for an unrelated project two weeks earlier. The rule was blocking the specific port range the EDI VPN needed. Twenty minutes of change work and the feed was back.

No missed shipments. No chargebacks. No fingers pointed at a customer for something that wasn't their fault.

That supplier moved to us the next quarter. Nine years and counting.

Questions Automotive Suppliers Ask

Which OEM supplier portals does Wizcom support?
Ford, General Motors, Stellantis, Toyota, and their tier-one supplier chains. That includes certificate management, portal access, and the specific technical requirements each publishes.
How do you handle EDI monitoring?
Continuous monitoring of every inbound and outbound EDI feed with alerting on delays, transmission failures, and format issues. We know when a feed is late before your customer calls.
We're preparing for an IATF audit. Can Wizcom support that?
Yes. Change management documentation, configuration records, and audit trails are part of standard managed IT engagement. When the auditor asks for evidence, it's already there.
How fast can Wizcom respond if our line is down?
Same-day on-site inside southeast Michigan. Remote diagnostics start immediately once we're paged. Line-down issues are always highest-priority routing.
