Remote IT Services for Businesses Outside Metro Detroit
Managed IT, cloud, IT consulting, and Microsoft 365 administration for organizations that can't or don't need to see us in person.
Remote Engagements, Same Discipline
Wizcom's engineers, consultants, and support staff have been working with clients remotely for as long as remote work has been possible. When a client is inside our Metro Detroit service area, we combine remote-first support with same-day on-site response. When a client is outside that area, we run the whole engagement remotely, which for most modern IT work is exactly what's needed anyway.
Our remote clients look a lot like our local ones: small and mid-sized businesses that want IT to be a reliable background hum rather than a constant source of interruption. What we do for them is the same shape as what we do locally, minus the parts of the job that literally require a human on site.
We work with clients in every U.S. time zone, and we've taken on international engagements when the situation called for it. Response, coverage, and scope are defined in your service agreement so there's no ambiguity from either side.

What We Don't Do Remotely
Remote work doesn't cover everything. When you need hands on physical hardware, we can help you find and manage a local technician. But we won't pretend a video call replaces a screwdriver.
- Structured cabling and physical network work
- Hardware installations (switches, servers, workstations at desks)
- On-site training that needs a room
- Compliance audits that require witnessed physical inspection
How a Remote Engagement Works
- 1
Kickoff call (30 minutes)
Understand your situation. What's working, what's not, and what you actually need. No sales pressure.
- 2
Discovery (1 to 2 weeks)
Read-only access to your environment. Review current state, identify quick wins and larger issues.
- 3
Scope proposal
Clear document of what we'll do, what you'll pay, what we won't touch, and what our response commitments are.
- 4
Onboarding
Access provisioning, monitoring setup, documentation, and (if it applies) migration planning.
- 5
Ongoing operations
Support tickets, scheduled reviews, and quarterly check-ins to make sure we're still solving the right problems.
